Chapter Philanthropy

The Omega Chapter takes pride in participating in the Walk Now for Autism Speaks every year to raise money for our philanthropy. At the Walk, sisters will help with set-up/break-down, registration, interacting with families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder, promoting safety precautions, and more! In addition to participating in the Walk, our chapter holds a variety of philanthropy events each year in both the fall and spring semesters. Each April, we host a week-long philanthropy event, Xi Man! One man represents their fraternity and participates in a series of competitions to promote Autism Awareness and Acceptance while raising money for Autism Speaks. At the end of the week, they participate in our "Xi Man" pageant where points are awarded based on the knowledge of Autism Speaks and Autism Spectrum Disorder in general to be added to the points they were awarded throughout the week. The chapter contestant with the most points at the end of the week wins the title of our Xi Man, our chapter sweetheart. This friendly competition is a great way to bond with our fellow Greek organizations while promoting our own philanthropic endeavors.
